Originally from Connecticut, I studied at Earlham College in Indiana and completed a degree in Ceramic Art and Design at Alfred University in New York. After moving to Colorado in 1975, I set up my pottery studio in Lafayette, taught college ceramic arts courses and was a long-standing member of the Boulder Arts and Crafts Cooperative.
In 1987, I relocated to a beautiful location just outside of Salida along the Arkansas River. A few years later, I began to serve as pastor of the Salida Vineyard Church while continuing to produce pottery on a part time basis. After 21 years, I retired from my role as senior pastor, while continuing to serve as an Area Pastor and Staff Coach. My time is now divided between studio work and traveling the country to present The Potter, a visual parable of the ways that God shapes our lives and and forms us in His image.
